February 2025 Meeting Minutes

February 17, 2025 | 7:30PM-8:30PM
  1. Call to Order

The Treasurer and sole officer, Mr. Ungar, called the meeting to order shortly after 7:30 PM. He explained that the sole item of business for the meeting is the election of additional officers for the 2025 term.

  1. Elections for 2025 Officer Vacancies

Treasurer Ungar explained that pursuant to the Association by-laws, because the number of vacancies was equal to order greater than the number of declared candidates for office, the Association could elect its officers by acclamation. The following candidates were announced and elected unanimously.

President: Joe Bishop-Henchman

Vice President:  Jeff Miccolis, Aleks Ontman (in absentia), Alison Vas, Dalton Mattson

  1. Election Follow-Up Items

President Bishop-Henchman asked Treasurer Ungar to continue chairing the meeting.

Treasurer Ungar notified the Association that he had purchased a subscription to Zoom to facilitate future virtual meetings.

Treasurer Ungar proposed retaining the regular meeting schedule for the ECA on the second Monday of each Month, adopted without objection. Treasurer Ungar also proposed a special officers meeting for the new officers on Monday, February 24 at 8 PM, adopted without objection.

  1. New Business

Treasurer Ungar notified the Association that the main item of concern for Association’s consideration is the future influx of funds from the McMillan developer pursuant to the community benefits agreement, noting that the developer had suggested that the funds were intended for beautification in the DDOT corridor. Conor Shaw suggested finding the plan unit development from 15 years ago to better understand any constraints, and agreed to provide it to the association.

Conor Shaw noted the upcoming budget forum and encouraged community participation.

Conor Shaw also volunteered to assist in managing the ECA listserv.

Treasurer Ungar notified the officers that he intended to provide access to ECA accounts and information in the coming days.
