At the July 2025 ECA meeting, membership voted to send two letters to the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) supporting proposed traffic safety installations:
- NOI 25-154-CPD, with comments due July 18, would install signage, crosswalk refreshes, and safety bars at North Capitol Street intersections with New York Avenue, Florida Avenue, Quincy Place, Randolph Street, and Channing Street. Read the ECA letter of support here.
- NOI 25-151-MSED, with comments due July 30, would install a stop sign at 1st and Q Streets NE, converting the intersection from a northbound uncontrolled approach to a full four-way stop. Read the ECA letter of support here.
